  2. Did you come to the quiz night last night? .. we had a really good evening and still managed to raise £280 for the Mayors charities ... congratulations to the boys from the 'Hit Squad' who walked away as overall winners and who very kindly donated the winnings to the mayors charities

  4. Ever wondered how you can get more involved in your local community? Why not come along to the Community Centre on Kingsfold Drive on Thursday 12 May between 11am and 2pm where we are having a Volunteering Roadshow. You will be able to meet with representatives from a number of different organisations offering volunteering opportunities and also talk to them about the services they offer to the local community. Opportunities in Child Care, Social Care, mentoring, conservation and a whole lot more. For more information contact Gael Finch at Volunteer Centre Chorley and South Ribble on 01257 263254

  5. What a farce of accessible information. Some transparency and openess would be in order by making sure web resourses are both up to date and easily accessible. When you get info that is so dated it does put a big question mark over the way in which the organisation is run.
