How fast do these years fly by ? .. Penwortham Gala is almost here again and preparations are well under way for this years event, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June 2011 .. let us know if you want to get involved or let us know who you would like to see at this years event !!

Christmas Market

Wednesday 15th December 2010 is the date of the first ever Penwortham Christmas Market .. it's on Liverpool Road between 6.00pm and 9.00pm ... come along and join in with the carols and brass band and you may even get to see Father Christmas .. come and join us for Christmas in Penwortham !!

Summer

We'll summer is here ... I know it's tough to tell ... but the grass is growing at the cemetery and Sean's doing a great job up there keeping on top of it. The feedback we have been getting recently regarding the condition of the cemetery has been really really good ... we'll soon be applying for the coveted Green Flag !!! .. well done Sean and all involved at Hill Road Cemetery

We have just booked ABBA and Tom Jones for this years event ... so don't forget, Saturday 12th June 2010, from 6.00pm in Hurst Grange Park ... get there early to get a good seat !!!
